Food from the Farm is designed for 2nd Grade; however, we are happy to scale this program to meet learning expectations for other grade levels or learning abilities.

Explore where food comes from on a real ranch!

Day Field Trip Program at the Lowell Ranch on Plum Creek includes:

• Plant Identification and Harvesting from the Where Food comes from School Garden
• Understanding where milk comes from and making a yummy milk treat
• Pigs, Cows and Chickens: More than Bacon and Eggs
• Great Egg Game Show

Food from the Farm starts at 10 am at CALF's Lowell Ranch on Plum Creek (about 3 miles south of Castle Rock).
